I have been playing the blues full time for the past decade. I feel this is kind of the end of the current chapter in my directions. Rather than spending my effort externally in networking and band management in the area, now I would want to work on myself to be a better musician.
これまでにまだやり残したことと言うと、もう幾つか数えるほどかしか無い。
So far there have been only a few things that are still remaining on my to do list.
(1) 日本ツアーをさらに拡張する。
１. To further extend my Japan tours.
(2) 自分のベースとドラムの演奏力をレコーディング・レベルまで引き上げる。
2. Improve my bass and drums skills to the level for recording.
(3) オリジナル曲を含めた新譜の録音。楽器(ギター、ブルースハープ、ベース、ドラム)を全て自分で演奏する。
3. New recording including a few of my original writing, playing all the instruments (that is guitar, blues harp, bass, and drums) by myself.
これは自分にとってまた新しいフェイズだが、それはいつまで今居るベスト・コンディションで音楽をやって行く気力と体力が持つのかという最終の段階でもある。
Perhaps I may be entering the last stage of my music career. Who knows how much longer I can stay on the top of the game?
